Ian will be talking all about his family history and the research that went into the writing of his book, whilst also reflecting on the Anglo-Boer War on the whole.

This will be held in the  'Regimental Room' between 7pm-8pm (doors open from 6:30pm) and more info can be found on The Rifles Berkshire & Wiltshire Museum website

This is the first of a series of transcripts of the original Jurors’ Lists record, under the name of every hundred, the name of the tithings and the names of the men in each tithing who qualify as jurors. Other information includes social status, occupation or elements of their address helped to distinguish them one from another. Information on their financial qualification is patchy, particularly in the earlier years.

There is a full name index.

This series will only be available as downloads. Click this link to go to the page in GenFair: Link to the GenFair page
